Just got home and see you sent me an E-mail (iks yearly). Thanks for the great service. Was having supper and loaded my account in. Got a black screen. Recheck my setting and rebooted both my router and receiver again. Is there anyway to confirm that I'm talking to the server.So I know that the problem is on my side as my north package from Beaver is working great.

remember sometimes when loading new good idea to take others out till u get connected..

also always a great idea to hard reboot on off switch from back of receiver after putting info in...

just my opinion is probably not since this is a cheaper no frills service and they provide a more expensive full line up with events would kind of defeat the purpose of a full line up and a no frills server

From what I have seen this not a basic no frills service - they have a lot of channels that I have not seen on a lot of other IKS servers. The PPV movies appear to pretty stable - they have all of the porn and a ton of international channels and I would guess that they will have the UFC channels - but I could be wrong.
Sorry if I am beginning to sound like a spokesman for them - but I promise you I am not a reseller for them :-)
I am not sure why they all of a sudden started offering their services here - just after NFPS/Rocket are having problems - there could be some tie there so..... - buyer beware

I see your point of no frills. But after have to update my channel list it seem to be that not to many channels are missing on SD. Which is great as there is now another option out there. I already have beaver and am now enjoying yearly from Johnny and the service is great from all.I'm thinking that down the road the service will expand. Planning on getting 3 more donations from Johnny this weekend if I have time as some friends like what I show them plus there looking at beaver tv. I wish the best of luck to yearly as I see them here for awhile and see beaver expanded to. Great job to all and hope to see added down the road on yearly :thumbsup:

LOL...just go find a server that will allow you to park on channels and re-distribute off your dreambox .....and no nothing to do whatsoever with those other servers mentioned...if you where on our server before you would know we had a lot of requests for a yearly server with less frillls....if your so good at hacking(stealing) channels off your little dreambox why don't you start your own server....??? Ooops your better at letting someone else do the work and running the stuff.....

maybe resellers/servers beware of channel camping/service re sharing crooks ??????

ruthie - please get your facts straight and do not put words in my mouth.
I asked you a very simple question - can you leave your receiver parked on one channel all day. I do not know where you ever got the idea that I wanted to redistribute or reshare anything.
theBeav already replied in the other thread that it was not a problem to park on one channel


we don't care if u sit on one channel as long as your pulling in one sid you are fine and should not set off the reshare warnings system

I don't know why anyone would go to all of the trouble of resharing from YearlyIKS - the service is very reasonably priced - so if you are running a server why try to hack it - just buy it and put it on all of your clients boxes as a backup.

I trust you were not inferring that I am a "re sharing crook"? If you are you better be prepared to back it up.

Please stick to the facts and don't make up crap that you know nothing about.

Ok, to get the thread back on topic :) . Got the yearly a couple days ago. Been running really well so far. Of course it looks like it is down right now (ecm), but so are most others. Overall, excellent price, excellent service (Ruthie), and great channel lineup. Thanks for providing this alternative!

Budget IKS is a different service. If you are interested in Yearly IKS you should PM Ruthie or Johnny7107.

just got info, settings all look correct but still scrambled. did hard reboot on my limesat but nothing any ideas?

double check port number wrong port numbers will get ip banned

aslo on limesat i find this works best

turn off other iks then inisiat the beaver or yearly then exit all way out then power off on back of fta for 3 seconds then power switch back on and wait 1 min should be on and connected watch tv

thanks thebeav, my port number is correct, and i have done the install as you suggested. the only thing i have had problems with in the past the is the server name. seems the ip address would work but not the site name.

and after setting up yearly on my nano2/ilink convert instead of nfps,, do I need to recan the sats when up and running on yearly?? some nfps channels are missing and they should be there

no need to rescan , but there were some channel moves feb. 13 so if you did a rescan at that point your good to go

I have a nano2 conveted to ilink. My box was set up for nfps. Do I need to change any other settings for yearly ? like "type: dream" "server no. " and "softcam" setting ?

I just did exactly the same thing 2 days ago and the short anser is NO all settings are the same except for the info that will be sent to you and needs to be entered

the channel list is in the 4 digit format which I dont use is there a list (with channel name preferably)
for example 0354 or 9474 mena nothing to me, and in fact my nano2convert wont even attemp to tune channels like that in

Well, I noticed most if not all of the Asian channels in 99XX range are blank. My understanding is if they are listed in the channel list dated 2-16-2013 then they should be up. Are these channels in the process of being restored?

seems that all iks servers are behaving the same way. some channles up or down. maybe twitching the server

They are on the channels list but they never seem to work when I tune in to those channels.
