Hello: I received my Dreamlink about a week ago, put on Factory 106 then 118 all according to Hoyle, loaded the newest channel list and also used the Make2dream program to input my servers. I was up and running on 91, 110, 119 SD faster than it took me to unwrap the receiver from the packaging. My problem is I cannot get HD 82 to come in it always says bad or no signal. I can read the program guides for these channels when I remote through the channels and I used the tp 12428 or12443 for 82W when I try the signal meter and it shows S 97 and Q 97 but then the bars go red. I heard this could be a problem with the red board which came installed from the good sponser here. Any help would be appreciated. *Note I cannot test the HD channels on 110 and 119 as I only have a SD server for them but have HD for north.

It sounds to me like your not actually getting signal from 82. I've got the red board and if the bars are red you're not getting signal. If the bars stay blue then your good to go.

Check the signal With another receiver for 82. When you scan did get hd channel from another sats? I have doubt the hd module is not seated properly.... If the module is not seated properly you wont get any hd channles.

I found out my board is OK as I get Channel 9421 on 110. It is free and in HD. I guess the problem is the signal from my 82 dish. Funny I get the guide info but cannot get the bars to stay blue in the signal meter and the bad and no signal message. I will try another receiver to find this Sat. I remember setting up the old Fortecs and 82 was always easier to get then 91. Now it seems to be the other way around. I wonder if 82 has changed its footprint. Thanks for all the input from members here.

82 had shrinked the footprint long time ago. 91 did it recently. Do a Google search for footprint.

It may be the channel list causing this. Try Factory Reset and then scan 82.
