New box yesterday. When entering Local Network Settings; where do I find the (. dot) to enter with the numbers?

i think the . dot is on the # 1 key, you will need to press 2 or 3 times to get it.

Press enter button (In Middle of arrows On your remote ) you will get all the options.

im also haveing issues..how to erace??example in my static settings..192.168.1.1 is what my sv says....jynxbox says 192.168.289.344 i cant erace it i can over ride but still have numbers..192.168.010.010 how can i edit ???

Press red button on your remote.

Pressing #1 key does nothing but, move the cursor. Pressing the OK does nothing. Pressing the red button does nothing. All these actions does nothing to help change Network Local Settings. I have spent hours and hours and all I get is Connection Failed. I have 4 different stb's and 7 providers and I have never had this much trouble setting up a stb. I am considering a different HD stb. What information do members need to help me out. I also notice that there many channels missing after scanning with this stb. Very frustrating stb.:noidea: Thank you.

are you trying to setup your internet or your PS, it should only take 30 min to setup a new jynx, from the box to watching tv.

what firmware you have?
Did you buy from reliable dealer?

237 firmware, i got mine from Leesatt.

All satelites scanned (OK). Trying to set up PS and keep getting (connection failed). I thought that Network Setting might be the problem as the numbers are not the same as my other stb's (4). I have tried my other providers (6) still (connection failed). Channel 101 does work. Installed latest firmware 237. Stb came from Leesat, authorized dealer. I don't think it is a lemon, Ieither have done something wrong or have not done somethig I should. Any help is welcome. Thank you.

try this, dont turn off the power with the power switch, unplug the power from the wall then plug it back in and it should auto load
your internet then reload your PS.

i cant get to my jynx box at this time, my other 1/2 has full control of the jynx,LOL
try it on, if it dont work then try it off,

I turned DHCP off and now connected and running. Thank you for your help. I did this before and no connection. I don't know what I did bur, IT WORKS. Even a blind squirrel can find a acorn once in a while. :yeaah:
