Was anybody able to work with this bin loaded into S9 ?
Tried, but the menu is locked.

s9 had it's own version.

It says clearly this file is NOT for the S9. Read, my friend before you load.

it said that is working on some S9, but not all !!! on clones maybe, but mine is original.
I just changed the back logo with the red one. Much easy to see the bottom menu.

If you disable the protection ic you can use any of the anonymouSX firmware on s9, as well as many other modded firmware for other ali3602 receivers. When disabled you cannot use original factory openbox firmware so I installed switch on data and clock lines so that I can switch between factory or alternative firmware. Requires fairly good soldering skills.

Thank you. Didn't know that, but I'm not going into this type of mods.

If the receiver is locked like you mention you might need to load files via Serial Port, but try to load a file you know your receiver has worked with no problems before.
