Hello gen, first than anything else, I have and tested several HD FTA boxes since I been in this hobby.
Boxes that I have now, Sonicview 8000hd, Limesat air HD, and Dreamlink HD and now Jynbox Ultra HD V2.
Boxes that I tested and return, Ilink 9600hd, Ilink 210.

I recently bought the Jynbox Ultra hd V2. I think this box has a lot of potential with few more software updates. I have been having problems with the remote control. It's a pain in the butt to get the remote to change channel, raise or lower volume and so on..
Also the control looks and feels very cheap. It also comes with the extended IR wire to get more range for the remote control, like if they know that this is an issue with this box?? Well I went ahead and hook it up and I’m still have issues with the remote not responding correctly or lagging.. I literary need to be like 3 feet again to make it more responsive. Now my question is? is it me the only one having this issue?? or this an ongoing problem??

Please any feedback will help.

the one I tested was fine with remote extender. 15 feet at almost a 90 degree angle and remote still functions. I do find sometimes you need to slap it to get any response out of it initially like the batteries are losing contact. Other than that it seems to work fine

it is a problem, but i find if the box is level with the remote that it works ok, not great just ok and it will work up to 25,ft.

go into setup and under pvr settings, turn time shift off. I have had this problem and this is how I solved the problem, especially if you are using a large USB memory stick for your guide. To me the receiver is poorly designed with only one processor to do all functions, so since the receiver is trying to maintain a 30 second time shift it is very preoccupied with this and decrypt functions, and all the other it must do. They do not check often enough for remote code reception in the software. The coders could easily code to check more often if and when they decide to concentrate on bin's again instead of hardware add on's.
