If 3.20 is SW Version, what's factory 7.09?

Hi all,
Just wondering, I have Nano Premium SE with following "System Information":

SW : SKY03.05 (Jul 30) LDR 1.09
HW VER : 1.00
USB 2.0 DRIVER : 1.00
NANO PREMIUM SE (2)

Got 119 and 110 all tuned in and receiving BUT keep getting serious freezing and screeches (almost too much to watch). I was gonna update SW to SKY3.20 to try and help. Will this help??? And, what is "factory 7.09" that I see people talking about? Should I do a factory default and reboot a few times before updating software? Is there any hope???? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanx.

Okay, the adventure continues...
Have upgrade both factory and sw (thanks to a little reading here on the forums). The only prob is... now when i use DISCeq port 1 which always had 119 (Echo 14) the signal is 80 and q is 0. Port 2 is still on 110 (Echo 10/11) and rec'ving both S&Q at 95%. What have I done and can I fix it? Nothing else has changed and dish hasn't moved.
