hello buddy, I think you should look at getting a dreamlink hd instead. The Jynxbox still has bugs that need to be address.

So does the dreamlink. It has hokey low res GUI, pixelating problems and can boot loop if you on/off too much. It has multiple server issues. Latest software does not run well on all boxes. So no box is perfect. DL does a really great job of scanning all the channels. I am not flaming the dreamlink, only stating facts to illustrate. Jynxbox is a work in progress too. Runs multiple servers well but same thing with latest bin does not run as well on V2 boxes as it does on the older V1s. Jynx has problems scanning all the channels. Jynx has way better GUI and EPG beats the DL hands down. Both have good points. Both have their warts. Not fair to tell a guy one is good and the other is bad. Each user has to weigh the good and bad and decide for himself. I own both so I give best fair appraisal of both boxes and let the op decide for himself.

Sure the PVR still needs work! but besides that the Jynxbox Ultra HD works great!!............also a HD media player.Plays mp4,ts mvk,all type of hd files!!I don't think the dreamlink does though things but maybe!!Picture is A1.I have had good luck with mine!!I have V1 Jynxbox Ultra HD!!

The picture is good but there is no audio signal from the SPDIF port and the closed caption doesn't work. The HDMI and the composite outputs are OK. I personally returned my Jinxbox Ultra HD V2 w/h JB200 module to the dealer and got another one, but it's the same problem: No audio signal from the SPDIF port and the Closed Caption doesn't work at all. A HD STB without digital audio, what a shame!

Just how bad is the PVR on the Jynxbox? I am really interested but the pvr stuff is keeping me at bay
