New need help setting up through my stereo to tv

I have the hdmi cable going to the stereo which should go to the tv but Im not even getting a picture.someone help please

Depending on what type of tv and stereo you have.........I like to feed all the components to the tv then take one audio out line from the tv to the stereo equipment. Then what ever is on the tv runs out the stereo.

Some Audio amps have one or several HDMI inputs as well as outputs.
If you don't have HDMI in/out all you can do is run RBG and optical to pump the video and sound through your amp... or run the hdmi straight to your tv and just send the optical to the amp for sound. This will require an extra step when switching from something else to the jynxbox but at least you will get the Hdmi picture quality.
