Funny, when this site supposedly closed but just needed a sabbatical a while back, one of the most often mentioned sites: [Where are we gonna go now?] when members asked, was pros..... At least by nics I recognised & trusted....... After joining there (under diff nic) & following a thread you were posting in I learned satfix was stil here. It would seem they could benefit from your insight into isp/internt related matters at the moment lol. Glad your here at least.

Its a banned nick as I was banned from here a while ago. So whoever 'revived' it is on staff.

Personally I'm not very amused by it and my best advice to that individual is that they should hope I don't find out who it is. I'll behave only as long as I have to.

Someone on staff thought it would be funny apparently. That nick was banned so as far as I know no one from outside the cpanel could 'log' into it....so the login had to have originated from someone here on staff.

I see that banned users are colored pink but since I was banned almost a year ago if not more that nick shouldn't be in the .DB if they weren't carried over. In fact it would show in the cpanel when that nick was banned and I would bet you it wasn't banned today.

Strange though that that nick was joined up some 50 registrars after me on

LOL I know but how did they do it? They got poor JCO running around here trying to find out how it was done 'cause the board shouldn't have allowed the registration of a duplicate nick. I even tried ASCII code thinking it would allow that but you guys got it turned off.
