Getting back into FTA, need advice on what box to get. Looking to get HD box. Also, is it still free, or would i have to pay IKS?

FTA is always free but if you want to steal dn or bev channels then you will have to pay for IKS. Dreamlink HD seems to be the more popular HD box at this time. Keep in mind that you also need a dish aimed at a satellite with HD channels.(129). good luck
