HD channels will not scan in

I am hooking up a Jynxbox Ultra hd V2 for a friend and when i scan 129 sat i only get 44 channels it will not scan any turbo fec channels is this unit defective ? i think so or am i missing something ? any info will help as i have read almost every thread to find a solution to this problem

does it scan any of the hd channels on 110w?

what bin file do you have loaded to the jynxbox?

No hd channels at all i tried 237, 233, 217 bins

go to dish settings
put it on 129 and then toggle through HD transponders (21500) and see if you have signal

in the dish installation screen did you choose the correct lnb settings ex: ocs-cp

That is a JB200 correct? The channels your catching on 129 are probably the SD.

These boxes are "Made in China" that should tell you allot right there. I've had 3 friends with trouble scanning all needed a return although I do not know whether it was the JYNX or the JB200.

Update i returned the Jynxbox to the dealer and he verifed that the JB200 was defective and replaced it. Now the Jynxbox is scanning properly and hd channels are working (the few that are up). It would not get any Q on the 21500 tp's so i figured it was a defective JB 200 board.Thanks to all that helped.

Update i returned the Jynxbox to the dealer and he verifed that the JB200 was defective and replaced it. Now the Jynxbox is scanning properly and hd channels are working (the few that are up).
