Looks Like a card hit is coming today

Looks like Dishnet is changing their timing a bit.

They had everyone used to card hits on Thursdays - but it looks like they are going to hit everyone this afternoon
Time to get the candles out and prepare for the storm :-)
Doesn't look like it is just a simple key change :-(

I just do a lot of reading and copying and pasting Thunder bird :-)

Some people monitor certain channels (like CNN) and when they go dark - they know something is up - either a key change or a card hit.
If they pull their cards from their server and they don't get any picture or sound on those channels within about 5 mintues they are monitoring then they know that it is not a key change - but a card hit instead.

No vodoo or black magic involved :-)

Some private servers were already prepared and had backup cards ready to swap into their servers the minute they got hit - that's not really a fix - it is a card replacement.

Who knows maybe they'll hit us a again tomorrow afternoon and give us a double wammy - they have done that before.

A few of the IKS servers here already have some replacement cards in place and up and going

From what I am hearing some are holding back on putting all of their backup cards in the servers in case they give us the double whammy tomorrow - but it looks like 75% of the channels are back up on most servers.
Very nice recovery :-)
