This has to be the worst ECM I can remember. Channel 182 keeps going off and on I don't think any channels now are stable.

This is nothing. Expectations way too high for hobbyists and free tvers.
Back in 'old days' we'd be without fixes for weeks and months. . . . or so the old plumbers tell me.

Now when down a few hours or days we hear about Zombies, teeth grinding and cold sweats?

You have no right to call it an extreme ECM till cobwebs cover the remote and your wife is restored to
her role of adult entertaining provider.

Been around the cards in the old days and not like you just hearing about it. Been their done that. Been a free tver probably longer than you. Here comes a little education for you, 1st comes the F card then HU card not in that particular order. Sure there are times we were down for days at a time then oops what's that called TECHKNOWLEDGY what is that you might ask? Rainman2 don't know why you are jumping on paladin like that but I'm sure he meant no disrespect! By your statement I can see why he might have thought you were a newbie "Worst ECM ever" and if this is the worst you have ever seen then I would also have to think you might be a newbie lol! This is nothing compared to old ecm's we would have nothing and not even ion tv I mean nothing and we never had people saying when it would be back we also had nothing on that end lol.
We usually just waited with remote in hand jaw dropped down to floor eyes red from keeping them open waiting for some sign of life. If I'm not mistaken I think we were down for damn near a year for the most part one time. So if you been around and read a comment like that normally you would just chuckle knowing what you know. I think paladin was just trying to let you know in his own way things will be back to normal and not to panic.

there was an ECM wednesday and Thursday so it was a bad time for iks.
As far as the so called old days....there is NO comparison between the old fta days where ya thru a new code in your box and Iks...where you pay for a service.
