Noi not connecting to HD

Hi, yesterday the computer I was using for Noi and my HD died. I had a Dell Inspiron laptop so I did a format and a instlal of windows 7 on it. I then did 144 updates and installed Noi and added my information perfectly. Now I start noi and it connects to the server and I get a snowy screen, but it does not find the HD. I turn the channels on the unit but noi does not even show the channel number and it just stays snowy. I did run the netwok wizard and made the changes to the ip, gateway, etc on the hd and still nothing. I run noi on another computer and it connects no problem so I am thinking it is something to do with the computer. Noi did work on this computer months ago, so I am thinking it had something to do with the format.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you set the IP on your computer to Static and add the external IPs required for your computer depending on which file in is the receiver

Change your network to static and then change your Gateway to your IP addy!
