need help

I purchased a dreamlink high def. receiver already with the red module installed. When I watch the HD channels there was a lot of pixelation, so I did some reading and I openned the box and removed the red module so I could take the top plastic from the 4 pins. I put the red module back and then connected the receiver back into place and now it only gives me 20% Q.S before it was giving me 90% I reboot the box a few times and I still get 20% I decided to open the box again and install the green module to see if it made a difference and it did. Right now it only gives me 60% Q.S. I am able to watch all the channels S.D. I wonder if I fried the red module or is something wrong with the receiver, it kinda sucks when I purchased the receiver to watch H.D. I connected another receiver and it gives me 90% Q&S therefore it is not the connections.

The red did not click in properly. Becareful inserting the module. You can break it easily. It will click when it is in properly.

thank you for the reply I have already done this and it clicked but still only giving me 20% what else could it be?
