mode not supported

when the system was down over the weekend I was trying the older fixes as an experiment now the box wouldn't let me in to factory default comes up 0 on the receiver and frozen and or locked and doesn't accept my flash drive all it says if mode not supported any thoughts on how toby pass my problem so I can load up again
