Disconnect all cables, unplug for a few minutes, restore power w/ nothing connected and see if it boots up.

well then it sounds like you need a new module but I have never heard of any of them going in that fashion, a lot of freezing or heat prior to its last hurragh is common but just up and stopping is not

Well when previosly when i change the channels sometimes the signal whent down to 23 % and a few seconds later whent up again to 85% that was happening since the first day that i use the box

actually that is common and that is not a tuner isue but a failure for the box to switch sats as fast as it can change channels. Regardless if the box fires up normal without the module then it is the module itself. Have you tried just reseating the module back in. Possible it was just making a bad connection as well

ok that pretty much confirms the module is fried. You need to get a new module and you should be good to go

He should honour it, they are much aware that there are issues with the module, mine was faulty and it was replaced without a hassle.

Yes JB200 modules having high failure rate lately, last 2 I received for conversion to "B" for use in V1 box were defective in the package. Maybe they had a bad run of cheap chinese components to make these modules.

in the 1970's , if it said made in japan, it meant it was junk. be great if china could get a clue there regarding their qc.
i am still watching this box, stories like this thread alarm me.

unless you need the jb200 module in a v1 for dual tuner purposes no need to convert to a "B", you can install the jb200 in slot #2 of a v1 jynx and it will work without issue

Very true, I now always test in slot 2 in a V1 to make sure they are good before mod. Many people want dual tuner use here, they do not want to purchase new when these great receivers work, most just tired of DN ecms and wish alternate options.

Well lost a V1 today, I am really upset, shut unit off, disconnected all, put on bench, opened up and removed JB200-B and DVBS2 modules, and installed a new JB200 in slot 2 for testing. Turned unit on and red light flashed 2 times then nothing. Shut down and removed module, tried power up, unit is dead. It fried something, these new modules are really junk, this is #3 in a row, never had one kill a box tho. Had to set up a different receiver to get tv and I do not like as well. I will have to wait for a few weeks to receive a new V2 here. Another RIP
