I have a jynxbox v1 with a jb100, it was working fine then it stopped locking on any satellite but still showed strong signal 87%.
It started acting funny a few days after loading firmware 237.
My limesat is still working with the same dish so that part is good.
When I do a scan with the jynxbox it skips all TP's even tho it shows good signal.
I have put old firmware back on jynxbox but still no luck..
jynxbox has strong signal on 110 119 129
But it doesn't lock on the sat.
So is the 237 file the problem???
Or do I have a bad jb100 module?
Thanks

Bad JB module. Get a new JB 200 and put in slot 2 and you should be good to go.

Thanks Anubis
Just for a test, try loading the 233 file first and see if it helps your problem, the V1 may not like 237. Otherwise change the module as Anubis has recommended.

I would get a hold of your dealer to see if he will replace it as being defective. You may not have to pay for a new one.

I got it for free to beta test back in August...so no big deal. It's part of the game

Even better...had another defective one to try to modify today, these seem to be faulty more and more lately, hope they get the suppliers of components to deliver better quality for the next batch to be manufactured. It would be great if they would identify the defective component and perhaps have a replacement available... but:noidea:

I got the JB200, I installed in slot 2, and now it locks and scans my satellites again!
