When you first connect your sat receiver to the RG6 cable, if you had to attach a cable connector, to any cable end, please check your splicing before you attach the connector, there could be a small ground filament wrapped around the center copper lead, if you have to use a magnifying glass to check it! You can also use your fingernail to scratch at the surface, if you do this you will avoid get the FLASHING LNBF, on the front display. This way you will be sure that the copper lead is not shorted!
