View Full Version : Jynxbox Ultra HD is Hung Up

I have a Jynxbox Ultra HD V2 JB200. It is stuck on channel 302. I can't channel up or down. It will not power down unless I use the rear power switch. I have seen this many times before and I recovered by using the rear power switch to reboot. This time it is really hung up. I left it powered down overnight and it came up the same way this morning. The menu functions display normally. I can move through the menu choices. I do not have a picture on ch 302. Server says "WAITING".

Does anybody have an idea to try. The receiver is only 1 month old. Should I factory reset and reload everything? Can the JB200 cause this to happen?

remove the JB200 module, then see if it will power down.

I removed the JB200 and had the same condition. Then I realized that the remote was not on STB. It was on AUX. I feel like an idiot! The lesson is to check your remote for STB control.

It's usually the first button I press when I pick up the remote. :D

I wonder why the menu worked with the remote on AUX? That's what threw me off the trail.

It's funny, but it happens to me sometimes, especially if my daughter start playing around with the remote :-)
