i got a cheap kbox and trying to get it to work. any way to tell what version the hub is.

Its likely the hub that came with the kbox Its useless unless upgraded
There is only one guy in toronto area who does it

I am trying to revive a old Kbox . I recall buying an upgraded hub a few years ago but both have been sitting in a pile with the viewsats etc. Anyway this one has 104 and I put my current Nfps codes. The server says connect but the module doesn't connect. The red light never turns green. Perhaps I have a V3 hub ? how do I tell ?
