Hello I need your assistance, I got the dreamlink hd installed by a friend that has now moved out of town. I was having problems and found this forum full of great no and people help each other.
I have a dreamlink dl-hd pvr, loader v L 4.01.00
Hardware Ht_HD v01 1.00.00
App dl_HD 1.10.00
Build date may 4, 2012 updated to January 2013 (see below)
I only have access to dishnetwork 110, 119
I installed the factory file 106, and then bin 119. It recognized the sats, set manual scan and make sure Transmission is set to Turbo 8PSK, I went to Auto Scan and scanned the two sats but I did not get any channels after the scan.
What am I doing wrong?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

leave transmission default
it will find the turbo on it's own

Thanks to both of you, I think the problem was the scan settings, the dish has the lnbs and are dss dual lnbf;
so I scanned 119w with lnb type: legacy quad LNB1 gets a lots of channels get many of the 500's it shows strong signal but I only get a blank screen same as in the 300's.
then I changed to lnb - ocs-dp I re-scanned got fewer channels however I get lots of black screens.
both at 11250 for both 110/119
the ps is working fine as well.
What do you think is the problem?

If you have dual lnbfs than both legacy quad and ocs-dp in settings is incorrect and will produce undesirable results . What other options do you have for lnb type ?

Before we can give you proper settings, we would need to know which dish you have and if there is a "DP" logo on the lnb. If there is no "DP" logo then they are, or it is a legacy ln b. If it has 2 individual ln b then there must be a switch and disq setting would have to be set to the port the ln b was connected to. If it was the second example then 119 is disq#1 and 110 is #2. I don't have the box so I'm guessing a little on ln b type, but it will be either single or o cs if there is no "DP" on the ln b. If your ln b is the second example then Legacy twin #1 for 119 and LT#2 for 110. There again this is if there is no "DP" logo on the ln b.

Two legacy dual ln b

With those lnbs you should be using single or universal in your settings , definitely not ocs-dp.

Looking a picture #3 one LNB looks to be in the wrong slot. Should be in 119 slot not 101
