Bought one at the flea market for $10 came with a one year sub, after a long registration process it is no more than a portal to websites that stream video, nothing you could not get to by yourself with a quick Google search. jmo.....

By the time you finish the order the price is about twice the advertised price.

Many in the US don't realize that there is a lot of video content on the web that can only be accessed from a US IP address. That's where a VPN or proxy server comes in handy to spoof you a US IP address.
I contacted them and it doesn't work outside the US for US restricted content like network and cable TV channels. Their website has a link to a pay VPN to get you around that little obstacle. It looks like Canada doesn't have that problem but I'm not sure.

Yes, of course you can get the content on the web by yourself. These portals are basically value added GUI's and time savers. It would take you hours and hours of searching to build and maintain updated links to all that content. Probably worth the 10 bux a year to let them do it for you.

I am from Canada, and I purchased one of these at a Walmart in Detroit and after a really long registration process it wouldnt let me watch anything played off of a US site,or US IP like earlier noted. When it denies you a site it asks if you want to pay a premium to watch these hows from US sites. It's false advertising,or not a good deal at all for anyone outside the US!!
