DL HD receiver with Home Theatre set up

Perhaps someone on here can answer this for me.
Just got my DL HD and love it. It also states that its 7.1 compatible.
Is there anyone out there who has their DL HD receiver set up in a home theatre?
Right now I have my blu ray player, FTA receiver and LCD big screen tv.
In the future I will be getting my 7 speakers and subwoofer as the room is already wired for it.
Just wondering if someone here has their receiver in a home theatre setting and how its working for them.

I have a 7.1 system and it works well. I use the hdmi for both audio video. I know some use the optical.

Just setup the receiver to recognize the dl through an input and hdmi it or optical. That's how I have mine. Works perfect
