I have decided to resurrect my solaris out of my closet, and was hoping someone would be so kind to explain what needs to be done to it to make it work with a paid iks service like nfps??

also interested in hearing how solaris works with paid and the guide etc etc , does solaris work with multiple servers/services at the same time like my nano2/ilink convert??

Thanks

Bill

why don't you do a little reading in the nfusion section there's lots of great reads on that there.

mostly because I was overwhelmed and confused by the amount of info
I have been a long time member and whether you are a visiting dignitary or not, I found your responce to be unhelpful and rude
I have helped many people in the past on this site set up their nano2 to ilink, and I didnt deserve the kind of responce you threw at me

So you want to be spoon fed instead of reading and testing on your own like most members here.I said nothing in my first post that was close to being rude ! And clearly you have tried nothing yet including reading the great stickies that are posted in the nfusion section and then posting questions that you might have which would include the steps you have taken.

Looks to me linke you got up on the wrong side of the bed this mornin ;) ... reading the exchange I did not get the same impression as you did - guess it's a matter of interpretation .

Lets just say that it's a misunderstanding and move on

Probably this suggestion was made because there are a lot of different ways of going about it. Some people swear by NOI... but that requires having a PC on the same network running at any time you want to watch TV. Some folks just dont (or cant) do it that way. Others have great EPGs and some not so much.

So you see... choosing a system for your equip requires reading the pros and cons of each setup. Nothing rude about that reply... just good advice!!!

Thank you Styx N Stones that was quite helpful
at least now I know it seems the solaris is better off retired permanently

I know a few people that still use their Solaris. Look into the NOI program. It requires a PC running on the same network as the Solaris. Its very functional!

Take the time to read the included instructions... it'll save you headaches later.
