Some of you in the northern (or Southern) locations may have a few hours or more of satellite signal loss, this due to a spectacular outburst from the sun this week.
This plot from the GOES 13 sun observation satellite shows a good sized spike from the sun, had the green line touched the dotted line or gone above it we all could have lost satellite signals, or maybe a few satellites all together..

If the green line goes way above the dotted line it would be time for the lead underwear and aluminum foil hats.(I'm staying in my cave for a few days)
