Lots of Freezing on echostar channels

All of my echostar channels freeze every 1 min why is this happening

3.05 is file to try..

well theirs a few channels in the 100s up but is constantly freezing with the 3.05 but theirs a ECM in progress....so if u have this file install wait until the ECM is over.....dont know how much longer this file has left:rolleyes:

I'm also experiencing lots of freezing. I just got this thing running and not to impressed with the performance so far. Thinking I should have done more research and purchased another brand.

dont panic yet. they are just doing server maintenance. this is necessary. wont be much longer. trust me, this service is as freeze free as you can get

In fact the only thing a new file will do is add in any new transponders and adjust channels that changed. other than that unless they are fixing something with the box the file will make no difference. I bought one of these three weeks ago and have tried different bins and ps servers
I have ran it hard wired and wireless
I have put in url and domain
after testing it and reading many threads I am convinced that there is a new bin required
as I also have an open box a nfusion and a limesat that run fine when tested at the same time
this is just my 2 cents and will put it aside until a new bin is developed to stop the constant freezing.

the problem is its beginning to freeze constantly in a lot of channels now mainly the 100s.....so thats very bad sign...if the 3.05 goes bad.....check mate for nano....time to go buy a new box

using Nano 3.05........i am watching CNN tonite.. hours and hours and not a freeze. watched 8101 today no freeze..
then maybe watch a movie or channel 120 and a freeze now and then.. I just really dont get it...
what i know.. i have 2 nanos side by side. watch same channel for like 30 minutes and switch to other nano..one with 3.24 and other 3.05.. same server...the 3.24 freezes more often..for me.

i agree 3.05 in CNN it runs flawless but is in the 200s....but today just about all channels in the 100s for me constantly freezing or scramble.

I have experience the same thing with this stb (and i but 2 of them a while back, not too smart of me).... tried all the factory files and update files in different combo, nothing helps. the 3.05 with a 7.04 fact. files seems to have less freezing but still a bitch to watch tv....some channels are worse then some others....but at this point they are put away....it sucks!!

Is the dreamlink HD the way too go? I just purchased my Nano Prem SE and it came in damaged with a dent on the case but still useable. The dealer I bought it from is offering 50 % off next order and he does sell the dreamlink.

dream link HD is awesome as far as pic quality

really I don't think they could or I believe that issue would have been addressed long ago. It definitely is a timing issue but I have a feeling it is hardwired into them boxes and simply not adjustable by changing value of a variable. Only other reason I can't see it being repaired after all this time is it would resurrect a lot of the other ones they already abandoned and might cause a decline in a future sales

bashing is against the rules here but as far as dreamlink freezing, if it does, its server issue or needs reboot.

u mite be correct, it could be a hardware issue....the only thing i could think of, they would have to make a file to flash the rom like u do in a computer bios to update it...if it could done...to fix the timing....but i believe once something is hardwired it cant be change.

It is really sad for this box.. It has a epg that populates for hours.. it records well on usb..

what is strange is the freezing.. I mean it can work great one day and then start freezing the next every few minutes.. not really consistent.
but with the old file i can so far live with it..

Ya not too bad tonight. Watching Locked Up Abroad on 186 with very minimal freezing. Scared to change channels. Fingers are crossed.

I wish they could release a non freezing file for this box. So strange that it depends on the channel and time you are watching...jut starts freezing every now and then.. change box and no freezing...need a new file..

I loaded 709,, then 324 did factory default loaded channels did soft boot,, and dish has been pretty much freeze free for 24hrs..... found if u default every file its freezing,,

I have also had a lot of freezing for a long time now in the 100's. Power down and power up,,, runs for 30 seconds and freezes again. Cannot even watch what I want. I have rebooted, etc with no change.
