Anyone know the Jtag pinout on the main board of the VS9000HD? Also anyone found the Jtag client. I fond one but unsure what models it is used on.

TIA

jtag pinout tends to follow some standards--not all that closely, but sort of standard, and lots of pinouts availible on the web to show you some of them. The vs9000hd uses an ST Micro processor and those do tend to support jtagging, but the newer chips have gone to DC3 protocol and not many jtag programs will do that. Best idea that I have for you is to pick up a newer ST toolset and hope that the old jtagging method like that used for maggie box will let you connect--it uses a program to use the ST Toolset's debugging stuff and converts the ST protocol to parallel port use. There was a pdf for the MB411 development board on the web for a while--that pdf might have shown the jtag connector and I think it showed the stb7100 processor pin outs--might be a good thing for you to look for.

One other thing you could try is to see if other stb7100 based boxes have jtag connectors--maybe one of them is marked up and the same as your box. The HD nfusion and sonicview boxes use the stb7100 and inside the code you can see the references to MB411 development board too. There is a thread in the advanced section about looking at the code for the NF HD box.

And there is a datasheet for the stb7100, you could use multimeter to go from processor pin to connector.
