Hi
I am looking for a new receiver for my basement but i don't want to run anymore wires in the wall.I am looking at getting this receiver because it WIFI ready and as the adapter.I just wanted to know if it works good or not? thanks

that would depend on the distance You might want to go with netgear wireless adapters

If you're going to go with dd-wrt you're better of running it in repeater mode.

just buy a pair of powerlines.. you will not be limited by distance or walls.and never need to worry about if you change wifi passwords or bu a new router etc.. plug and play..
