remote not working

i just brought the nfusion hd out of the closet, got it working but the remote won't work properly, any ideas???thanks

put new battery's in it.
try different nf remote.
clean front door or open it up while trying remote.
this is NOT a common problem with these boxes.

look at the remote through your cellphone camera or other digital camera Does the sensor light work?

it only works with menu and the guide or if i want to put the numbers of the channels in, no up or down.

take it a part and clean the contacts or buy a new remote.
