any home audiophile would have in their arsenal the older alesis 3630 compressor / limiter. i have one myself. i also have a behringer compressor limiter ... not too happy with it. it works, but it doesn't have that "punch" that the alesis has. i wanted to buy another new 3630 ... i was told that there is NOW a 3632. so, dor the price of $120, i bought one.
i was not disappointed!! same quality, same sound, BUT not the same front. buttons are a bit smaller BUT adjustments are a bit nicer and more precise than the 3630.
so, bottom line: was it worth the purchase? absolutely! if you love the 3630, the 3632 is all that and then some! rock on, gang!! :guitar:
