Problem is the database varies from release to release and is frequently not upward compatible. I think it might work a lot better with the new update we are waiting for. Frequently even 2 boxes with the same software can't share a single channel list. Lack of a Channel Editor that actually works also limits what folks can do in a reasonable time. Provider is frequently moving channels and that is yet another issue. Not easy to just edit and exiting list. And doing it on the box with a remote is not a trivial task. If they had a USB keyboard driver, that would be a big help but not have that either.

HD has really complicated the landscape with SD channels associated to HD channels in random scramble order.

Man have we been spoiled these days.

Just make a favorites of the channels you watch mostly and work from it.

I think at the most I have 10 I watch all the time, the rest are for rainy days.
