I just bought a DreamLink HD V4 from worldwidesatellite, but I don't get any HD channels. I saw in some posts in here people talking about some HD board. Do I have to install the HD board on my receiver, or its already installed because the company where I bought it said its HD. Help please.

Thanks for the help.
so the red chip is the HD board, right? If it doesn't came with it, how much does it cost to buy it?

It could be either red/green...If it didn't come with the reciever...Yes you will need it....For HD viewing....Maybe contact the supplier you mentioned....For the board...

That is the original SD module. You'll need the SK-200 module and then install it. I purchased my module from Ebay and most already have the heatsink already attached, ( glued on). I don't think I can post a link for that on open forum so if I find my link I'll send you a PM. Both my receivers been working perfectly for 9 months with these module.

I glued the heahsink that came with the box with module. Whats the next step after installing the hd module. Im trying to scan for channels and the S and Q is 90% no matter where the dish is. Im assuming is something wrong with the set up. Do I have to do a factory reset after installing the HD molule?
