NOI issues

had noi working great, but last night, tried to watch tv but it wouldn't work. rebooted everything (computer/modem/router/receiver) and still nothing. NOI would say connecting and channel number in red, my receiver would say status connected but i wasn't getting any video. tried again from scratch with NOI, now i can't get nothing connected at all. tried the ip4 to static and inputted the info 208.67.222.222 addresses, wouldn't connect to receiver and my internet on the computer wouldn't work. (wireless worked)

i've set it back to obtain internet automatically, because i needed to get on the internet with this computer. but i noticed my subnet mask number changed when i went into the wireless router info, it's now 255.255.252.000. is this my whole issue? i do know that when i try to use the network setup wizard it hangs on me and i have to ctrl+alt+del to end it.

NOI will only work if you hook it up with manual IP! Re-connect your network as you had it before! Last night everything was down,

thanks glatt. i wish i knew that before i reconfigured the network. ive tried 3 how to guides so far, none worked, and all three are different LOL i'll keep trying

Add 123.108.108.138 and 123.108.109.22 and make sure that your Gateway on box is your IP addy!

when all else fails, just turn your computer off, and receiver. go have a drink. forget about tv for a few hours.

came back in the living room, turned the computer on, the wizard ran flawlessly, and i have tv LOL go figure
