files via cable

Just recieved my nanosat and it won't let me apply files via usb. I have the cable but has forgotten how to put the files on the box via cable. Any help would be great. thanks

I already have the files but usb port not working. I need to load files via serial cable. I use to do it years ago but have forgotten how to do it. any help would be great. Thanks

I thought I had it. It let me put 7.09 factory in but when I try to put in sky 3.05 it says please upgrade to latest software so I hit ok and nothing happens. Would that bin have to be put in via serial cable and if yes how do I get it in the unit. Thanks

you need to use the nulmodem cable. and maybe a usb to serial adapter. you can some googling how to setup your laptop when you get the adaper. then download and open the loader..select the file and start.. then turn on the box..... pretty self explanatory..
