I've had my nextfta now for about 5 weeks. It has been not working more than it has worked. I have had my installer out three times. He has realigned the dish and rescanned the channels,we changed the esq switch as well and I have changed all the cables from the dish to the receiver we had checked all necessary numbers ie part, ip address etc and now nothing. Last week it worked flawlessly. Over the weekend nothing. Sunday half a day it was great, down since. I receive 2 channels 163 and 121 and they freeze a lot the rest are either scrambled or no signal. My installer has contacted others and they are having no issues. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? thanks. apologies if I am posting in the wrong area

lol....didn't know this hobby had installers......Not sure where to start or whether we should be asking the installer questions.
What p$ is installed on the receiver? Do you have good quality(dish alignment) on each satellite you are receiving? Fill us in with more information and I'm sure we'll get you up. good luck

I would suggest putting your receiver on channel 101. If you see problems on that channel it eliminates your P$ as being the problem. If you have a different receiver to try see if it also has the same issues.

Yes need more info, post your sat settings, are you using the domain name or IP? What S/W are you using? Answer these questions, so we can help.

I placed the receiver on 101 and I receive no signal. The several channels I do receive are at 100x100signal ,quality respectively. My installer...lol...has the same P$ and is experiencing no difficulty. He is baffled as well. He also has been in the business for 15 yrs and repaired my computer at his business as well. The few channels I am receiving are on 110. Some channels on 119 are full signal and quality but scrambled others are no signal. I also had the lnbs replaced while I had the dish aligned and cables replaced. I have rebooted the modem, router and receiver which worked for a day with no freezing and all channels then I lost everything again. OTA is my only option living in a rural area other than the bell or shaw please find me a solution...lol thanks I just connected my other receiver(Nano) and it appears to be working the only exception is ppv's. Sounds like my new nextfta is screwed?

Something is wrong with your settings or hardware if you cant get 101
Post your complete settings for 110 and 119 as asked

Diseq switch ? These do expire sometimes. Try direct wiring to box.

Funny but this has happened to me lately and I had to replace my switch.
Now all works as expected.

Make sure unit it off when installing switch or the power could blow them up.
