moving to the country and getting dish internet and sub. still want to use iks on my stb. i know i have to set up seperate dish and lnb for stb. but should i do anything different to use iks on dish internet. thanks i guess i should have posted in iks server forum.

Won't that give the Providers knowledge of what You are connecting too...? :judge:

No difference in the setup - the receiver doesn't care how you connect to the web .

Absolutely something to consider for sure.
For me... it's a bit to close to home if you know what I mean.

I do know what you mean, that what i was concerned with. did not know if ip could be hidden or not and if there is a way to do it. thanks

Paranoia. No different than subscribing to bell and doing iks in canada. I wonder if dn ,or one of their subsidiaries, is in the Internet racket - just about everyone else is.
