I have limesat ultra .

When i change channels, i loose signal and have to wait for the channel to come in, takes a good minute, if you change channel back right away to try to avert, this from happening, i cannot avoid it, signal is gone this becomes very annoying, to the point i might need to purchase a new receiver ,gets annoying after a while.

This is one of the reasons, i went with the limesat, quick channel change,s love this receiver and it is my second one.

You can change channels at times and comes in right away ,and then you do the changethe channel, and, POW ,blank screen for a minute or so.

Can anyone help ??

To help you better can you help us with the following questions.

LNB type(s) you have on the dish?
Switch type (if any)?
How many satellites are you looking at, and who's? (Dish, BEV)
How long a run of coax from the receiver to the dish or switch and what type?

Can anyone help ?? sounds like a disq switch starting to fail and by your descriptor it's total failure is near.......second guess would be a bad wire check connectors especially the wire center leads as these from time to time will corrode and fail or give a bad connection.....hope this helps you......cheers

110 119 about 100 feet of cable as for lnb type not sure and a regular switch cannot see a name.

But it was never like this was allways quick changes on channels only starting happening recently.
