Factory Bin

I noticed that boot version on my NF HD says 1.05.

Is that normal? I thought my brand new out-of-the-box unit (yes, I know how old it really is) had the latest factory on it when I got it so I just loaded the 27f bin and everything seems to work just fine.

BUT now I wonder. I have a factory bin labelled 1.016... Should I have loaded that? Would that include new boot version?

Mostly just curious.

I am looking that 1.05 bin file but don't see where. I was wrong when load bin 1.016.

If you look at the info screen, it says boot version: 01.05

That is what I refer to in my post. It might be perfectly fine, I just don't know, so I ask.

My friend, you are hijacking this thread. You really should start your own thread and folks here will be happy to help you.

Just FYI I would do factory default. Then load the 1.016 factory bin. Do another factory default. Load bin 27f. Do factory default.

Factory bin does not do IKS or anything other than true FTA. You must load 27f bin to do IKS.

After that you will need to update the transponder file OR do a scan with network ON to get all the new transponders.
