have 0000 on my display after factory default

I defaulted my lime sat ultra thinking I would rescan sats but that was a mistake, I can not get into the menu ,how do I get back in, it is a version 1, do I just load v 2.75 with a null cable, to get the menu to come up as that is the bin file that was or is in the receiver or did the default take that out too?? I sure need some advice (thank you):bawl:

I think you missed part of my thread I can not rescan my sats if I can not access my menu all I have is 0000 on my display & the menu will not come up

go to front of box and press menu... if it comes up then remote bad or in wrong mode...STB.

as a matter of fact I did get into the menu, I remembered when I first set this receiver up I could not get it to work, I had to add ch 4 to my tv & that is what happened the receiver jumped from ch 3 to ch 4 that was the problem, I will not forget that now I can not connect the server!!!!!!!

First and foremost// the 0000 is the time (12:00 pm).. that means the receiver is in the standby mode.. If u leave it alone.. ot will change to 0001 then 0002 etc.. which would be 1 minute after midnight then two minutes after midnight// and on it goes..
hence .. u must turn the receiver 'on' to access the menu and any-other receiver feature./
Also make sure the correct channel is selected for the tv input.. :)

Make sure that all the info is correct, in other-words re-enter it all again..
good luck and if that does not work ,post again and I am sure that during the day we will all be sober and some peps smarter than i can offer sum advice,, lol
