private server settings

having trouble putting in ps settings,not sure what goes in Name or IP slot and when I put in others info in other slots,it does not stay there after i press exit or save and exit ,any help appreciated.new dreamlink hd4 with 106,119 files

Navigate to the first space, hit OK on remote,
enter server name or the IP using the remote and the on screen keyboard,
Hit the RED button on the remote, (save), the info will be saved but it will not show on the screen. hit EXIT,
navigate to the Port slot, enter the port info. Hit the EXIT button if you hit the RED button it will save and exit.
navigate to the user name slot, enter your info, it IS case sensitive. hit the RED button then exit,
navigate to the password slot, enter your info, it iS case sensitive, hit the RED button then exit,
navigate to the DES slot, enter the info any letters will be UPPER case, hit the RED button and then exit.

the server name,is that like nfps or its ip address ,i had no problem putting info from ps in my nanosat but i was not sure what to put in for my dreamlink

checked out make2dream apps but i was not sure how to use,so I entered all ps info again and it still did not work so i gave up for the night.next day I turned receiver on to try again and it was working as it should.I guess it finally took the info i had put in .

from the how to

a) put all server info in SERVER.txt
b) run make2dream_hd.bat

load CHLIST-S.LDB to receiver with usb stick

What Bev. info goes into the server setup in the port space and in the id space? I have username & yearly.nl?
