What IKS service besides NFPS do you have and how do you like it?

Ok everybody...I'm new to the IKS world and would appreciate all the help I can get without the unnecessary bashing and sarcasm to your new fellow members...
I'm now subscribed to NFPS on my Limesat ultra and it's freezing up most of the time...
Please let me know what other IKS providers besides or other than NFPS you are subscribed to and how are they when it comes to freezings and the number of PPVs up and running...
This might end up helping not just me but also a lot of the other newbies out there who are looking for strong IKS P$ to lean on.

I don't think any PS has ppv up everyday and depends also on server conditions so most PS are about the same as far as that goes. Channels are down sometimes every day lately with all the ecm problems. tv101 has done a very good job keeping members informed as to what is going on.

Wouldn't that be like breaking the law ? The guys on top giving orders , the ones with the 8 digit salaries, will end up in jail if caught ? You think they'd risk it ?

Not bashing anyone in this post but I think you should do some research on what is a DDos attack and a ECM , they are apple and oranges. Its ok to let the user know which server you think is best and if one is wrong in making a statement no need to get upset just do some research and move on. It's fact there have not been an ECM in about 3 weeks.. so lets try and get along here :D

lol you're funny.. because I try to clarify the difference between ECM and DDOS im running a "newbie" away? hahaha lol and have you ever thought that the reason most members use the term ECM is because no channels are open(scramble) and not that they are disconnected from the server which maybe a different scenario such as donation expired or server down?... food for thought lol

Well I am not a mod want to be. I am a mod and I am going to tell you this site has not been around 7 years. Also just to go back to my original post, you should teach the newbs what a DDOS attack is and what a ecm is as opposed to misleading them and calling it that.

What was the title of this thread.... What is the difference between an ECM and a DDOS.. And no an ECM does not "attack" or shut down the server at all.. None. An ECM is legal.. A DDOS is not legal for anyone to do. And it does attack the server with a bombardment of requests, in which slows down the Internet provider also and can slow down thousands of internet customers.. So no dish isn't doing DDOS or behind it.. ECMs "attack the seeder cards" not the server.
