Channel mixup

OK, now I have my BEV issues resolved, another problem has arisen and hopefully someone here can assist.

I'm running 2 P$'s, one for south, one for north. I'm using a NFHD w/ N.O.I. Everything is set correctly, so please no questions of "have you rescanned your sats?" or something like that. Here is the problem, specific to BEV.

There are a few channels in the 800's (2800, 2803, 2836 to name a few) that are NOT coming in. When I info those channels, it comes up showing Mpeg2 instead of Mpeg4. All the transponder and LNB settings are correct as per lyngsat.com.

So what do I do to change these channels from Mpeg2 to Mpeg4?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

you can't change them the are just what the send them as.....so yes 82 could have a few non hd or 720 channels.

480 is sd

bell has some 1080i as well
most hd on both are only 720p and a lower bit rate
even 720p on ota is better...lol

I agree, that OTA, uncompressed is far better than anything off the sats.

Can anyone running a NFHD check out either 2800 or 3051 and tell me what the Mpeg is on both?

I've got Mpeg2 but Bell lists these channels as HD , or Mpeg4.
