just want to send a warning to anyone in canada or northern states that use bev P$
that sid for bev does not work and 82 will not lock
and since i have sold mine it was recommended that others that wanted this for bev would be not such a bad idea for moving to another brand that would be more suited to you at this time
not saying they wont fix it just that currently there is none
and hate when people throw away hard earned money on this hobby to find out it will not do what you think it might
nothing written in stone but an educated buy is better then a non one

you can try to scan 82 under 72.7 but the channels are everywhere it really makes it a royal pain in the ass to find what you are looking for
just wish people would stop buying these boxes force them to do better then what they are doing
its all a freeking money grab we are getting poorer they are getting richer at this point of not very many good solid working boxes out there your better off just upping your sub

If you have a 722 vip, the linkbox HD local can execute the same format of time sharing as your 722. Just hook up an external hard disk. It will identify a Terabyte. You can be watching an event, pause and go to the head and back, you will see the event were you left it. Testing requires much more than what you are doing. "The first Pansat was the 2500, this box is a Pansat".
RULE #1
~FLAMING & BASHING~
We will not tolerate any flaming, bashing, mocking or any other form of disrespect to any member, nor will we tolerate such manners of disrespect directed to other FTA sites, Manufacturers of FTA Receivers, or Coders.

I am not sure what you meant by testing requires more than what I am doing but it really doesn't matter. And I never tested a linkbox, I have no desire to, but I hightly doubt it performs timeshift as well as a 722 in any way shape or form. But what do I know because I never even saw a linkbox.
Making the analogy to this being the first Pansat is a good one. I just hope it proves to be true. The better selection and quality of boxes out there, the better for all in the hobby.
My mistake. My comment about the linkbox was uncalled for.

That's good to know. I've heard read more negative then positive comments about the box. Thanks for sharing the info.

Thanks for correcting me, time shift is the correct word. You can expect a cheap box to perform better than an original but never seen an fta do this in the past. What I meant was, you have to test the unit before you write. This box is one of the best in the market.
Cool, we all make mistakes, don't we...........
just for everyone's info I am using this box and with today's updated v137 BEV is working perfect as well with all the Channels as SID. 91/82 both. picture quality is not bad at all with LS500 and PVR works fine as well i did record few tv shows on my WD350 from EPG and that works good to.
