Can't beat fresh walleye out of the water and into the pan at a remote cabin... eat your heart out JCO :manner::tehe:

Nice Mc, nothing beats a deep fryer with peanut oil... and walleye is great , but i love my fresh Lake Erie perch Mc.. Happy fishing bud

My buddy that cooked this fish has a heart condition so that's why the Becel lol,and I'm sure it's low cal oil :D

The trick Mc to cooking fillets in peanut oil is a few drops of vinegar in the oil and the 350 degree temp so the fish only takes 20-30 seconds in the oil and they are done, can cook 4 pounds of perch / pickrel in 10 minutes .You should give it a shot, the oil doesnt get a chance to get into the fillets

Man does that look good....my mouth is watering as I type....For my money there is no other fish that can touch walleye....especially out of the water and into the frying pan.

We all have our favs, and i do admit i love walleye , but to me a nice perch dinner after its been in a de-scaler is the cats a$$, will post up some pics the next time i go out , still have about 4 , 2pound bags still left over from last year, fish on brothers ..:yeaah:
