Just moved you to the proper location you should be in. You might want to do some reading in this section to help guide you.

Yes u can get it working again. The information is in the NFHD section. The receiver requires an XFTA router with software installed or you can run a couple different programs on a computer NOI or SUNS4U ,connected to a network. Computer must be on at all times to view..

Wrong . Any dish ( as long as you are using the correct type of lnb for the sat tat you are pointing at) will receive sd and hd transmissions . Both signals are digital - nothing to do with mpeg4.

My dishes were from year 2000
never played my hd channels audio would glitch. u actually think dishes from 2000 had hd technology hd wasnt even out that time

That would indicate one of 3 things (or a combination of) ; dish too small for your location, not pointed correctly or you were outside/borderline when it comes to the foot print of the sat that you were pointing at.

wow !!
look paul the lnb is the same for sd and hd. the people from dish or bell will tell you otherwise but trust us they are the same. now have you even pointed the dish at a hd satellite probably 129? do you have signal ? did you load a channel list ? there are many things that you need to do before you come on here and just assume everybody knows what you have done or need to do. it may just be me but you aren't asking in a very nice way so please tone it down a bit and you may get more help :)
good luck

Holy cow! The more I read through this thread, the more amazed I was that someone could think the way you do. I'm not being disrespectful here, just making an observation. As Stan said, there's probably nothing wrong with your equipment, you just need to read a bunch more to find out your problem. Firstly, this ain't a "bin" world anymore. Next, do you even have the looped out cable for your 8psk module hooked up on the back of your receiver? Do you get any HD channels scanning in at all?

Too many variables to be addressing this problem. Need more input from you, OR you need to start reading more.
