Just recently purchased the nanosat premium se and it freezes so bad you can't enjoy tv at all. Done a lot of reading and everyone with this box has the same issues. Just looking for someone to point me in the right direction on a desent fta box. Just need to get 110 and 119 on dish network. needs to be pvr ready with built in ethernet. Any help would be appreciated and happy testing.

I like my next-fta.It gets public and works on private servers.Cost is reasonable and upgrades to 1080i.

Toaduser, this really looks like a great unit but how is the pvr function. In the past all my last units you just record on external hard drive, highlight the movie, hit ok and the movie plays. If it does I'll order one tonight and thank you for your quick response. frostybear69

I recorded Ufc on usb flash drive.Pushed record and away it went.Most people recommend no bigger than 500 gig external hard drives.

turn off modem ,turn off router,unplug the rec for a few min,then turn on modem,then turn on router ,then turn on rec,that should do it.

Well I have a nanosat premium and it is working quite well.
The question I had was about the recording.

there are very few people with nanosats that do not have freezing. put them on a poor server and that un-watchable, even on a good server they are nothing better than tolerable

yeah my buddy tried it and had just the opposite thing happen , it was horrible. ya just never know what will work and what won't. Man I have even seen 2 boxes running side by side on the same setup and 1 would act up and the other won't. I like to call them WTF moments LOL

I was having freezing issues with my Nanosat PREM SE using some of the later bin files. I downloaded and installed 7.04 factory file and the 3.05 file and the Premium is running great. When I want to watch Dik I have to zero out the port # that I use for Bev. One other drawback is the 3.05 file can only handle 2 servers. Since doing this I have have very few freezing issues.

I did the same as you jain, and am having the same results working tickey and boo.
