What is the perfect scan method?
Do I need a new sat file?

I'm using s21switch (one dish, 2lnbs)
echo8X - dish1
echo7 - dish2
22khz - off
network - on

search - all

I am also doing a blind scan

Don't know what kind of lnbs or dish you have but I know you don't do blind scan with sv 360

i blind scan and it gets better results and channels as regular scan
i am using an s21 switch there bud,
ur settings are wonky compared to my actual legacy settings
Ill stick with what i got - it is workin great

Agreed... you do not use blind scan. Auto scan is best. Also, with the SV360, make sure "auto TP' is on, and it will automatically keep up to TP changes. One of the nice things about the SV's. do not use sat files either, as they are often outdated. SV does a great job of keeping TP's current.

PS.. Network search stays on.

thanks . i actually used a sat file and guess what it disconnects.
so if i fact default , do i load latest bin back?

The blind scan feature is something you would use when your searching for data from a true fta sat.
The info in the "perfect scan" thread pretty well says it all and is easy to follow.
The scan you do yourself for your area is always the best scan.

Scan with network search ON.
