pandr needs our prayers

Hi everybody. I just learned some disturbing news on the NASCAR pool thread from TPB that our good friend pandr has taken ill. I don’t know the details (and don’t know if he would want them published if I did) except that he is “under chemotherapy treatments” and hasn’t logged on in a couple of days. Also other members of his family have had some very tough medical issues in the past year.

For those of you who are lucky enough to know and call pandr friend know that he is a great friend and a true asset to our community/family. For those of you that don’t, you want to. Anyway if you are a praying person please lift him up daily in pray for a speedy and complete recovery. And while you’re at it keep the rest of his family in pray also.

For myself and my family, we are already praying for you pandr. You’re missed and loved greatly. Get well soon buddy.

An update on our Bud pandr. He is doing well and keeping his sense of humor. He is under going chemo for lung cancer. The Dr’s are giving him, a what seems to be, a good prognosis of five years or more if the treatments work. Right now, he was to go in for more treatments but they rescheduled him and he has a couple of days to be enjoying life without the treatments.

I think that we all know how hard chemo treatments are not to mention coming to terms with a diagnosis of cancer can be. Lets keep praying for him and encouraging him.

Cancer and it's treatment can be can be very invasive and cruel.
Mine is treatable with kemo and we will see what's up comming.
Ya never think it could happen to you but then........

I talked with pandr yesterday for a little while and he sounded upbeat and good. He starts another round of the chemo today. This is the second to last treatment scheduled and he has to travel several hours south for them. After this I guess then he waits and they do tests. Like most that have chemo he is having problems with his digestive system and doesn’t want to eat but he is forcing himself, with the help of his wife, to do so. And there is always the hair loss but all and all he is in good spirits. And as you can read from his post he appreciates all of our well wishes and prayers.
