I have a Limesat HD Air that I bought in early March and it is dead. When powered up from the back switch the front LCD screen does not light up and all I see inside are two red lights at the optical output that will go out when I power the unit off using the back switch. Talked to the dealer who said Limesat is out of business and he offered little help. Has anyone knowledge of this problem and ideas on a repair for it?

ok now I am going to open a can of worms.
I would take a guess and say it sounds like maybe either the HD module could be moofed or it could be the entire power supply or some component on the motherboard. Not sure who you bought it from but I would be tempted to try the SD module in it first and see if it powers up that way. If so at least you know what the problem is and can always pick up another HD module.
Now here is where it gets dicey. You bought the box in March and 3 months later it is dead. I would go back at the dealer and ask him when Limesat went out of business. See what his answer is. I can tell you it was around Dec 2011 and they folded up when DN put the heat on them. If he gives you any other time he is lying. If he says it was around that time then ask him why he never told you that the brand was discontinued when he sold you the box.
Might have to play hardball with the guy but I think you have a case and I hate seeing people getting screwed over the way you are
